Three-masted barque Kaskelot will be opening her hatches this winter for truly unforgettable festive dining experiences, in collaboration with Clandesdiner.

Start your evening with a glass of bubbles- explore the deck and admire the rigging. Members of the ship’s crew will be on-hand to answer any questions you may have about this gorgeous vessel.

Then descend into Kaskelot’s beautiful and spacious cargo hold to dine, where the impressive oak structure of the ship forms an atmospheric backdrop to your festivities. Various menu options are available, with all food freshly prepared on board by the renowned chef behind Bristol’s Clandesdiner secret supper club.

Sample menus- these should give you a flavour of what’s on offer, but please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your requirements and preferences. We pride ourselves in being able to offer a truly bespoke dining experience, and can build a menu to suit you. We endeavour to cater for all dietary requirements, and allergen information is available on request.

Grazing Menu £35 per head: a buffet-style banquet including dessert, cheese and coffee, plus bubbles on arrival and half a bottle of wine per person. Available for up to 50 guests.

Sharing Plates Menu £45 per head: an informal seated dining experience in this decadent setting. Includes bubbles on arrival and half a bottle of wine per person. Available for up to 40 guests.

Bespoke 3-Course Menu £55 per head: a luxurious feast, designed around your tastes and requirements. Includes canapés and bubbles on arrival, plus half a bottle of wine per person. Available for up to 30 guests. To discuss creating a bespoke 3-course menu with canapés, please get in touch and speak to our chef, who will design a meal perfectly suited to your tastes and requirements.

All bookings give your party exclusive access to the ship from 19.00-22.30. A smoking area is available on deck, with heating and blankets to fend off that festive chill!

Exclusive venue hire £500, plus dining from £35 per head.

Kaskelot is a traditional wooden sailing ship, and stairways are fairly steep. While we will have crew on hand to assist we would urge your guests to wear sensible shoes. No stilettoes!

Parking is available in Millennium Square car park, and Kaskelot is only a short walk away from the bus stops near @Bristol, the Hippodrome and College Green.

Payment Details: We require a non-refundable deposit of £700 at the point of booking to secure the ship for your chosen date, with the remainder to be paid no later than 2 days prior to the event once numbers and requirements have been confirmed. We can take payment over the phone or online via an emailed invoice link.
